Service Awards

In 2008, Danielle received the Athena Society Young Woman of Promise Award and the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award.  The Athena Society is an organization of  women professionals in the Tampa Bay area.  Each year, they select eight to ten high school juniors from Hillsborough County to be named a Young Woman of Promise.  Selection is based upon academic achievement, leadership, commitment to improving the world and ability to overcome significant life obstacles.  The Anne Frank Humanitarian Award is awarded to one junior from every high school in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Sarasota and Manatee counties.  It is awarded to students "who have made a conscious decision to better the lives of other individuals or groups both inside and outside of school activities."  Danielle received the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award for her service work with Best Buddies.

Additionally, Danielle has received the Gold Level Presidents' Volunteer Service Award, was a Prudential Spirit of Community Honoree and has received scholarships from Best Buy, the Military Family Support Trust and the Rotary Club of Riverview for her community service.
